At the 256 Egungun Festival, we invite you to pay homage to your ancestors and connect with the spiritual essence of those who came before you. This is a unique opportunity to honor your lineage and show gratitude for the guidance and blessings they have bestowed upon you.

Event Highlights

• Egungun Worship Ceremony: Experience the sacred and powerful Egungun worship ceremony led by Chief Alaje, Founder of the 256 Healing Temple.

• Altar Building Workshop: Learn how to create a beautiful and meaningful altar to honor your ancestors in your own home.

• Giving Offerings: Participate in the tradition of giving offerings to your ancestors as a symbol of respect and appreciation.

Offering Options

Offerings will be given in person and virtually on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Appointments can be made beginning at 10am. For virtual appointments please make sure to give your full name, mother’s name and city, state where you reside. Video links and/or messages will be sent 24-48 hours after.
