On May 7, 2017 Chief Sekou Alaje received the sacred consecrated Bata drums called Aña. In Matanzas from his God Father Pello Tamapez, Baba Ogun Bi. The name of the drums is called Aña Guere Laki Lakua, marking a new era in Ile Ogunda Ose. I give thanks to all my elders and Bata teachers for developing and mentoring me on this path.
